Six years of extensive research, filming; contribution of 30 eminent scholars; 35000 kms travel, 137 locations to record from 84 Archaeological sites, 37 Museums, Libraries, Temples & Shrines. The story explores the elements of Yoga in Harappa Civilization, Veda, Jainism, Buddhism, Sufism, Hath-Yogic practices of medieval times & other peripheral doctrines. The film ends in 19th century where modern science acknowledges the potential of yoga in a new light. India’s magnificent Iconography, Temple Art, Diverse Culture & Ancient Relics, Wall paintings, Manuscripts unfold with wisdom of yoga in this path defining Documentary.
The film had 100s of successful shows across India, Europe, USA & Canada including many premier Institutions like IITs, IIMs, IISc, IIC, NCPA, BHU, Major Yoga centers in India & outside and MIT, IOWA state Univ, UIUC, LMU, Google HQ etc 31 places in USA & many more abroad. Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India had screened it at All its Indian Missions Abroad on Intl Yoga Day 2015 and IYD 2016. National Television Channels of India, DD National, DD Bharati & Lok Sabha TV has Telecast it on IDY 2017. Ayush Ministry, GoI, had placed the trailer on their official website with PMs video in 2018. All Govt schools & Colleges of several Indian states have been gifted with the DVD & have screened the film.
