Source: - Dharma Speaks YouTube Channel. Reincarnation can be a difficult concept to accept. But the idea makes sense when we understand that we are not what we take ourselves to be. The Masters and scriptures declare that beyond our physical and mental existence we are the Atman. Life is a cosmic journey where the Atman samples different aspects of life through different incarnations. Karma is the force of the universe that makes this happen. It is not a moral judge, but a law which allows us to create our future. Eventually after many lives we seek to break the ties of Karma and repeated birth and death, through Yoga. Hinduism: Why so many different philosophies?

Hinduism: Why so many different philosophies?

Hinduism, Videos, What is Hinduism
Source: - Dharma Speaks YouTube Channel. Hinduism has the broadest range of philosophical ideas. There are theistic and non theistic traditions, those that see God as personal and impersonal. The reason for this variety is that different Masters have contacted different facets of the ultimate reality and delivered descriptions of it. These descriptions provide a framework for the mind to be guided to the same first hand experience of these Masters. In this video we focus on Vedanta and describe the different schools from the great acharays (Shankara, Ramanuja, Madva), and explain how each one has approached the ultimate reality in very different ways. This sophisticated setup has allowed seekers to approach Truth in a way that suits their nature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCofNFj...
