Lakshmana pierced the nose of Shurpanakha not because he was a male chauvinist. The jealous cannibal Shurpanakha was about to kill and eat Sita

The self-styled, crypto-christian, dynast journalist who has made yet another such a gutter comment recently posted her selfie on twitter with a self-styled historian and another self-appointed guardian of secularism in India (no awards for guessing) and felt blessed in the company of such morons of first order. I thought that now only hafiz saeed remains to be caught in a selfie with this infinitely disgraceful lady. Honestly, such preposterous innuendos do not merit a response at all, but then a fitting slap with a resounding echo is what they absolutely deserve and am very glad that these secular porns are getting it right then and there. As far as a response is concerned, here is mine: श्री रामो विग्रहवान् धर्मः not because some acharya says so or Bhagwan Valmiki says so, but because Lord SRI Ram’s actions speak for themselves inasmuch as sun does not need light to light up ownself. And what did SRI Ram do? Having politely refused to accept the one night stand, which was obviously in the fitness of the things as Lord Sri Ram had promised Mata Sita Ji on Their first night His Unflinching Loyalty towards Her, Lord, upon repeated insistence of Ravan’s widowed sister, directs her towards SRI Lakshmana who was without His Life-companion in the forest as He had vowed to lead an extremely austere, devoted, sleepless celibate life, following His MataJi SRI Sumitra Ji’s single-minded counsel . And as a slave of the senses and the impulses of their विषयाs, an enraged, and desperate shooparnkha, seeing her offer turned down again and again and again and again by both Brothers, howls angrily and declares attack on Mata Janaki Ji. Though a fitting recipient of death penalty, Bhagwan Sri Ram refrains from taking the final action and immediately directs Sri Lakshmana to guard His Mother Mata Vaidehi, and to accomplish His Master’s Task, SRI Lakshmana does what He does. CORRUPT ATTIDUDE IN LIFE ALWAYS ATTRACTS BITTER HARM. At a subtler level, we all experience our weak moments in life and get defeated by hypnosis of sense objects, become impatient, irreverent, irrational and irresponsible in our conduct, and in such moments, Bhagwan Ram puts us in our place, (metaphorically cuts our nose) and restores legitimate rational sense order. Bhagwan gives that chance to each one of us inasmuch as He granted that chance to shooparnkha as well. The Story teaches us how to handle insults.
